What are the selling points over the plethora of existing VPN services, i.e. NordVPN?

@straaajk With Namecheap being based in the US, I can't see this as a good choice over services based in more privacy-friendly countries like Switzerland.

Namecheap has a solid track record of being an advocate of privacy and a partner of organizations like EFF. Seeing them do a VPN just feels right.

I love the idea behind an easy VPN for all, but there is absolutely no way to know what they are doing on the other end of the connection. I am skeptical at best.

@scottw I would typically (very much) share your skepticism, but these guys do have a solid reputation.

@scottw @andreasduess Solid reputation but VPN is a new space for them. While some reputation is transferable, we don't know how they would fair as a VPN provider.

@scottw being skeptical is smart, especially these days. Namecheap have been around for a long time and have a solid reputation. I can't see why this wouldn't apply to their VPN offer too. VPN is a great product fit for their current product line up too.

Will try this. Been using ExpressVPN and while I'm happy with the service overall, always room for a faster, more secure service.
